Internationally published composer and producer Andy Gladwell boasts an impressively eclectic output, exploring all facets of music and sound from funk, pop, rock to experimental electronica.
He specialises in electronic music and sound design, with a penchant for rhythm patterns using found sounds and utilising music technology in unusual ways to create unusual sounds. Through creative abuse, over-processing and breaking all the traditional rules and practises of studio equipment and computers, Andy’s music reaches weird and wonderful sonic spaces rarely heard before. .
As a multi-instrumentalist performer and writer, he has contributed to a wide variety of bands, including indie-rock band The Delta Sound, solo artist Holly Henderson, alternative fuzz band Rowsie, electronica outfit Bird Noire, parody pop duo The Passion Brothers, folk group Wheeler Street and rock outfit Waves of Fury. Alongside these acts and many more Andy has been spotted performing innumerable live gigs across the UK and Europe playing guitar, bass, keys, synth, drums and live FX, including international festivals, television and live radio broadcasts.
